Orebit makes GeoSuite, a free and open-source tool that takes drillhole files from raw data to a first resource estimate. GeoAtlas and PitOpt cover regional geology maps and strategic pit planning.

Why Orebit exists
On site, most of the work behind a resource number is checking: are the collars and surveys consistent, do the assays make sense, does the estimate hold up against a simple alternative. Commercial packages do this well, but they are out of reach for students, small consultancies and many exploration teams. Orebit gives those people the same checks, open source and free.
How the tools are built
Every tool shows its assumptions, cites its data sources and states its limits next to the result. GeoSuite is tested against independent, hand-checkable calculations, not only against its own output.
What the results are for
GeoSuite results support technical review and screening. A Mineral Resource statement still needs a Competent Person’s judgement. GeoAtlas is not an official geological map, and PitOpt is a planning prototype, not an approved mine design. GeoSuite is GPL-3.0 and PitOpt is MIT; map data keeps its source licence.

Every Orebit tool is free, with no account and no paid tier. Voluntary donations through Saweria keep the servers on and fund the next tutorial.
